Funding Sources for municipalities, businesses, nonprofits & individuals
Funding Sources for municipalities, businesses, nonprofits & individuals
Learn about funding sources for energy and environmental projects for businesses, individuals, communities and nonprofits, from the many new programs coming from the federal government. Few New Hampshire municipalities can afford a full-time grants writer to sort through the many funding opportunities currently presented by the Inflation Reduction Act, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act, the USDA and more. Members of municipal Energy Committees and Select Boards are frequently citizen volunteers without such knowledge. Luckily there are resources – such as Clean Energy NH, the Monadnock Sustainability Hub, and the office of US Senator Shaheen – that can offer advice to individuals, communities and other entities on the funding that is available and how to access it.
The presenters:
> Melissa Elander, North Country Energy Circuit Rider, Clean Energy NH
Current funding opportunities for municipalities, schools, nonprofits
> Nora Hanke, Program Manager, Monadnock Sustainability Hub
Elective pay, EVs and more – including for businesses & residents
> Elizabeth McKenna, Policy & Projects, Office of US Sen. Jeanne Shaheen
