English Paper Piecing Quilting Workshop

Learn the basics of English Paper Piecing in this beginner workshop at Strawbery Banke. Participants will be guided by Museum instructors as they create a classic Grandmother’s Flower Garden motif using fabric, paper templates, and simple hand stitching.

No prior sewing or quilting experience is required. Step by step, you’ll practice foundational techniques in a relaxed, hands-on environment. By the end of the session, you’ll have a completed floral design ready to stitch into a small bag or other personal project.

This workshop is suitable for ages 16 and older and limited to 8 participants. All materials are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own fabric scraps. Members $55; Nonmembers $65.
