Concerts at Nottingham Community Church, UU - " The Relatives" celebrate St Patrick's Day

Concerts at Nottingham Community Church, UU - " The Relatives" celebrate St Patrick's Day

The Relatives were brought together by marriage and held together by fun, music, and joy. Phil and Sue Cassista (guitar, banjo, fiddle, percussion) are joined by their son-in-law Brian Murphy (bodhran, mandocello, octave mando) into a three piece band that thrives on audience participation, lovely harmonies, and musical surprises.

All three share in the vocals, each bringing a very different sound to the mix. Sue's fiddle knows all the jigs and reels and many lovely singalong ballads and waltzes, too. Our repertoire spans 'Danny Boy" thru "California Dreamin" to "Cat Came Back" and everywhere in between. The Relatives have been found at numerous St Pat's events, birthday parties, retirement homes, and hopefully soon a venue near you.

Door prizes given and light refreshments for donation available at intermission.
