Brattleboro Buddy Walk

Brattleboro Buddy Walk
On Saturday, October 4th, beginning at 10am, Brattleboro will host the 17th annual Brattleboro Buddy Walk at the town common.
The Buddy Walk® was established by National Down Syndrome Society www.ndss.org in 1995 and has grown to be the world's largest and most recognizable Down syndrome awareness program, with hundreds of local Walks taking place across the US and select international countries. Each year hundreds of thousands of walkers collectively raise funds to support local programs and services as well as national initiatives.
With the support of all our sponsors at HCRS, Community Bank and M AND T Bank and VT Developmental Disabilities Council the 2025 Brattleboro Buddy Walk invites all community members to celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of individuals of all abilities. In addition to a one mile walk or roll, this year's event will include special speakers, lunch, music, games, prizes, and venders that support inclusion for individuals of all abilities. This event will also help raise much needed funds for Special Olympics programs in Windham County which help provide important opportunities for achievement and create an inclusive environment in our communities.
Everyone is welcome to join the celebration and help raise awareness and promote inclusion for individuals of all abilities.
Registration early for this FREE event at www.BrattleboroBuddyWalk.org. Volunteers welcome
