The Compaq Big Band is *STOKED* to complete our busy Summer 2024 season with a fabulous Labor Day Weekend show at a truly gorgeous waterside venue on Saturday August 31st! This is a FREE, public outdoor concert on the bandstand at Cate Park in beautiful downtown Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. The event runs 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Weather permitting only. Bring a blanket and/or lawn chair. Cate Park is located at 53 South Main Street, right on the shore of picturesque Lake Winnipesauke. The show is presented by the Friends of the Wolfeboro Community Bandstand.

Once again we’re honored to have out in front of us the talented, dynamic Bella Holtz! She’ll be performing selections from jazz vocal greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, Dianne Schuur, Tierney Sutton and more. We will also be hittin’ the audience with some of our best instrumental arrangements, too. Think Count Basie, Gordon Goodwin, and Chris Walden, plus a few more surprises.

Wolfeboro is an AMAZING small town on New Hampshire’s ‘Big Lake’, with cool shops and plenty of places to grab sustenance and libation before the concert. It’ll be a very busy end-of-summer holiday weekend in Wolfeboro, so plan on getting to town and saving your spot in Cate Park early!
