FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe Steps Down

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who has drawn criticism from President Trump, has stepped down from his current role, several weeks earlier than his expected retirement date, a U.S. official says.

Also, White House officials say the tone of President Trump’s first State of the Union address Tuesday night will be one of bipartisanship, after a tumultuous year in politics.

NPR’s Domenico Montanaro (@DomenicoNPR) joins Here & Now‘s Robin Young to preview the speech, and discuss the week ahead in politics.
