No Business Meetings On The Green For China's Communist Party

The Chinese Communist Party announced this week that it is officially banning golf club memberships for members of the party. Owning a golf membership was added to a list of vices which included excessive eating and drinking.

It’s part of an effort to improve the party’s image by rooting out corruption and extravagance.

Here & Now‘s Meghna Chakrabarti speaks with NPR’s Anthony Kuhn from Beijing about the party’s new restrictions.
