Exploring San Diego's Famous Mexican Food Scene

After landing in San Diego this week, Here & Now host Robin Young did a shout-out asking KPBS listeners for the best Mexican joints outside Tijuana.

The most mentioned place in town: Las Cuatro Milpas in San Diego’s Barrio Logan. Since 1933, the restaurant has been serving up Mexican food old school, on long picnic tables covered with red and white checkered vinyl tablecloths.
