YouTube Offers Bonuses In Attempt To Hold On To Stars

Under pressure from rival video sites, Google’s YouTube is making an effort to hold onto some of its stars by offering bonuses to sign exclusive multi-year deals with the service, according to The Wall Street Journal.

YouTube is reportedly most concerned about the video startup Vessel, which has been courting some of YouTube’s most popular video makers. Peter Kafka of Re/code joins Here & Now’s Robin Young with details.
