U.S. Accuses Russia Of Undermining Ceasefire In Ukraine

After reports that Russian tanks and troops have rolled into eastern Ukraine again, the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N., Samantha Power, said Russia is pursuing war while talking peace.

More than 4,000 people have died since the fight between pro-Russian separatists and Ukrainian forces started in April, and more than a million people have been displaced.

NATO’s top commander says Russia’s strategy may be to reinforce “pockets” where the separatists have control.

David Stern, the BBC’s correspondent in Kiev, spoke to Here & Now‘s Robin Young about the accusations.
