Human Trafficking in New Hampshire
Human trafficking is on the rise in New Hampshire as part of a larger trend across New England. This is due, in part, to the opioid crisis, as drug users and addicts may be at higher risk for becoming victims of trafficking crimes.
- Debra Altschiller - Democratic State Representative from Stratham; she also works as the Community Liaison for HAVEN, which provides prevention and support services for women, men, and children affected by domestic and sexual violence.
- Rebecca Ayling - Project director for the NH Human Trafficking Collaborative Task Force at Child and Family Services, a social services agency in Manchester.
- Matt Fleming - Detective with the Bedford Police Department; he is also a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children task force.
