  • Wisconsin voters will decide Tuesday whether Republican Scott Walker will be just the third governor recalled from office in U.S. history. The gubernatorial recall election caps off an intense 16 month period in the state.   • In New Jersey, Democratic Rep. Bill Pascrell soundly defeated his colleague Democratic Rep. Steve Rothman in a nasty member versus member primary on Tuesday. Rothman and Pascrell arrived in Washington 16 years ago from neighboring districts.
  • Republican Mitt Romney told the Detroit News, that if he's elected president, he would make sure the government sells its stake in General Motors — even if it's for a loss. Romney says President Obama is delaying the sale to avoid an embarrassing loss to taxpayers. A White House spokesman said Romney isn't credible on the auto industry since he opposed the bailout that rescued GM and Chrysler.
  • Money to build the AcelorMittal Orbit Tower came from Britain's richest man, steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal. At 377 feet high, it's Britai's largest public work of art. The design of the tower has generated a lot of criticism.
