USGS: 2.9 Earthquake Shakes Concord Region


The United States Geological Survey is reporting a 2.9 magnitude earthquake struck central New Hampshire Monday morning.

The minor tremor struck near Contoocook around 9:18 a.m.

Several people on social media reported feeling the earthquake, including staff at the Concord Monitor.
