KPL welcomes award-winning graphic novelist Tillie Walden, a two-time Eisner Award winner who currently serves as Vermont’s youngest cartoonist laureate. Walden writes and illustrates graphic novels that explore love, grief, humor, friendship, and the unknowns of growing up. Walden will share with us her approach to creating and storytelling and take questions from the audience. Bring your copies of her books to be signed or purchase them at the event. Be sure to check out her books from the library! Some of her work includes a figure skating memoir, Spinning, and a surrealist road trip tale, Are You Listening?.
