Steel Magnolias at The Amato Center, Milford

Steel Magnolias at The Amato Center, Milford

The Milford Area Players kindly invite you to their heartwarming production of Steel Magnolias, playing Friday, February 28th through Sunday March 9th at the Amato Center for the Performing Arts in Milford, NH.
Trade in your snow boots and rock salt for sunshine and sweet tea while this cast takes you on a brief escape from the long New England winter to springtime in charming Chinquapin Parish, Louisiana. This delightful production is directed, produced, and performed by talented women in your local community who have brought their passion and experience to bring you along on a soulful journey of laughter, sorrow, and unwavering friendship.

Steel Magnolias takes place in the genteel south of the 1980s and, specifically, inside Truvy’s popular and stylish salon where town gossip, as well as life’s hardest struggles, are shared. Beautifully cozy aesthetics immerse us in the setting with vintage fixtures in shades of retro pinks and greens (and plenty of big hair!).

Bring your mother, your daughter, your sister, and your bestie. Support the local arts! And here’s some more hot gossip. Your ticket can be re-used if you’d like to visit Truvy’s again so, y’all come back now, y’hear?

Performances are held at The Amato Center for the Performing Arts through March 9th – Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm.

Tickets can be purchased by visiting: https://milfordarea.booktix.com/
