“50 Years, The Best of Five Decades” is the theme for the 2024 Championship of Mud Football sponsored by Amoskeag Beverages/Miller Lite in North Conway, NH. The event is September 6, 7, & 8 at Hog Coliseum located at the North Conway Community Center (NCCC). Always the first weekend after Labor Day.

This is a 12 team touch football tournament played in mud. Money raised will be donated to the NCCC, Vaughan Learning Center, Carroll County Retired Senior Volunteer Program, as well as, other non-profits in the Mt Washington Valley. More than $1,000,000 has been donated over the years.

The 3-day $25 ticket ensures entrance into the games Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and doubles as a raffle ticket for a $500 prize on Saturday & Sunday. Day tickets for adults are $10 and $5 for children ages 6-13.

The Annual Tournament of Mud Parade is Saturday morning on Main Street in North Conway starting from Pine Street at 9:30 AM and ending on Norcross Circle. Enter an open division float yourself for the chance to win prize money to be donated to a non-profit of your choice. 

Event programs will be available mid-August at the NCCC and several businesses throughout town. Pick one up for all the details. Veteran teams include North Conway Hawgs, North Country Mud Crocs, Carrabassett Valley Rats, Mud Gumbys, North Shore Mud Sharks, New Hampshire Mudcats, Jack’s Predators, Rhode Island Muckaneers, Rowley Mud Ducks, The Muddas, North Conway Mud Things, and Mud Heroes.

Additional fun in the mud includes performances by Cheer Teams, a football toss with a $50 prize, and a ladies pick-up game. The Vaughan Learning Center will offer face art so you can show support for your team. The Mudbassadors will offer Children’s Games Saturday afternoon.

Bring a blanket for sitting on the hill or an outdoor folding chair to set up on some flat ground to watch this muddy football tournament. Come hungry and thirsty. The NCCC food tent will have plenty of options for the family and our Beer Garden has cold beverages for adults. T-shirts, sweatshirts, and beanies will be available for purchase. Take a chance on the 2024 one of a kind quilt raffle. Volunteers are needed and appreciated. A 50th Celebration featuring food trucks, the beer garden, and live music from Rek’lis will be held from 6:00 - 10:00 outside Saturday evening at the NCCC.
