Late in Arriving: How Electricity Changed Rural New Hampshire Life

The Pillsbury Free Library has received a grant from New Hampshire Humanities to present Late in Arriving: How Electricity Changed Rural New Hampshire Life. The program will be presented on Saturday, February 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Warner Town Hall, 1st Floor, in partnership with the Warner Historical Society.
This talk explores how the arrival of electricity transformed everyday life in rural New Hampshire. Presenter Stephen Taylor will examine the social and civic changes brought by rural electrification and draw parallels to modern challenges surrounding access to broadband.
The program is free and open to the public.
