Introduction to Fly Tying: Craft Your First Fly Forest Society North at The Rocks

Introduction to Fly Tying: Craft Your First Fly Forest Society North at The Rocks

Curious about fly fishing or looking to deepen your angling skills? Join us for a hands-on, one-hour introduction to the art of fly tying. In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will learn the basic tools, materials, and techniques used to create a classic fly pattern. We’ll cover simple tying methods, discuss how different materials imitate insects, and guide you step-by-step as you craft your own fly to take home.

No prior experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and enjoy this creative and practical skill rooted in outdoor tradition. Children under 13 welcome, but need to have an adult in attendance.
