Bird Bonanza Presentation: The Importance of Birding

Bird Bonanza Presentation: The Importance of Birding

Bird enthusiasts of all levels can join us for one or all of the Bird Bonanza events this spring and develop a deeper avian knowledge and connection. Learn about birds and their behavior through sight and sound.
During the May 5th bird migration and behavior presentation and discussion attendees will view and discuss data and photographs from birding excursions with Debbie Lyons. Debbie is a Level 2 Tracker and multi-year avian field researcher for the Maine Bird Atlas project. Spend the evening with White Pine Programs, as Debbie shares some of the ways she has learned to read the story of the birds' sounds and signs. Get to know our feathered friends and fellow birders a bit more at the library during this informative event.
