Republican Senators in swing states who are up for reelection in November, such as Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire, Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Rob Portman of Ohio, have all called for the next president to nominate someone to fill the late Antonin Scalia’s Supreme Court seat, and that might complicate their re-election chances in November.
