Short Summer Ski Season On Mt. Hood

Timberline Resort at the top of Mt. Hood in northern Oregon is the only place in North America that offers a full summer ski season.

But not this year. The resort closed to the public earlier this month, five weeks earlier than usual. And that's after an already dismal winter ski season.
