Boughs Of Holly For An Island Threatened By Rising Seas

Just about every December for the past half a century a group of pilots fly out to out to Tangier Island in Chesapeake Bay bearing boughs of holly for Christmas.

This year Jonathan Wilson from Here & Now Contributor WAMU tagged along to find out why residents on Tangier say there’s still real reason for holiday cheer despite rising sea levels that threatened the island’s future.
