Long Haulers - What We Know, And Don't Know, About COVID-19 Recovery

 COVID-19 has proven to be more deadly than the seasonal flu, but over the past year, we’ve learned about significant long term impacts of the virus, both on those who are hospitalized and those with milder cases, including breathing issues, extreme fatigue, and neurological and psychological symptoms. We discuss what we know, and don’t know, about living with the impacts of COVID-nineteen long after infection.

  • Dr. Jason Maley - Pulmonary and critical care physician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and a researcher and teacher at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He conducts research with patients and families who have survived stays in the intensive care unit, as well as survivors of COVID-19.   • Dr. David Kaminsky - Pulmonary and critical care physician at the University of Vermont Medical Center and medical director of the Pulmonary Function Laboratory. UVM also has support programs for patients and families.
