Entire N.H. Congressional Delegation Will Be Present For Netanyahu Speech

www.bbc.com

All four members of New Hampshire’s Congressional delegation say they plan on attending Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech before a joint session of Congress this morning.

Several Democrats have said they plan on boycotting speech, which was organized by House Republican leadership without the involvement of President Obama.

In an op-ed over the weekend, Senator Jeanne Shaheen said while she understands the concern of her colleagues, America’s friendship with the state of Israel transcends partisan politics.

Democratic Congresswoman Ann McLane Kuster has also said she plans on attending the speech, along with Republican Congressman Frank Guinta and Senator Kelly Ayotte.

Vermont’s two U.S. Senators and Massachusetts U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren are among those planning to boycott the speech.
