Teen Wilderness Adventures use the AMC's high hut system to explore the rugged beauty of New Hampshire's White Mountains and teach backpacking skills in a more casual, introductory setting. Participants will learn about mountain ecology and public lands as they build camaraderie and enjoy the challenge of New England's highest peaks. Activities include day hiking, trail work, and backpacking to the huts. Varied levels of outdoor experience and skills are welcome. All will enjoy this trip, which will emphasize the group experience as well as skills development.
