Loon Cruise
We are delighted to join forces with our friends and colleagues at the Loon Preservation Committee (LPC). Loon Cruises focus on Common Loon conservation, biology, and monitoring. A Science Center naturalist joins a LPC biologist who guides the tour and discusses the work LPC does across the state and on Squam to protect these extraordinary birds. The cruise route is chosen to maximize Loon observations. Cruises are 90 minutes long and on canopied pontoon boats. New Hampshire State law requires youth ages 12 and under to wear a life jacket on board.
Not recommended for ages 5 and under.
