Maine's largest agricultural fair features an all-new midway, over 200 musicians and entertainers, more than 3,000 animals, livestock events, harness racing, mechanical pulls, Agricultural Exhibition Center, Farm Museum, Garden Center, Freestyle Motorsports Show, Firemen's Muster, Woodsmen's Field Day, Grand Parade, Friday fireworks, demonstrations, crafts, vendors, beer tents and favorite fair food.

Fair admission: $12; free for kids under 12; free Oct. 4 for ages 65 & older

Unlimited ride wristbands are $25 Oct. 2-3; $30 Oct. 4-6 and Oct. 9; and online before 5 pm Oct. 2 for $25 each or $80/4-Pack. (Wristbands are not valid on Friday or Saturday.) Ride tickets, valid every day, are $1.50 each, $30/20 tickets, or $60/50 tickets + 1 free ride. (Rides take 2 or more tickets each.)

Fair hours: 7 am-10 pm. The midway opens daily at 10 am.
