ART: Afterschool Art Program at the Portsmouth Historical Society

ART: Afterschool Art Program at the Portsmouth Historical Society

Come experiment with us in this afterschool art program all about trying new things and embracing chance! Inspired by the work of Cabot Lyford, the artist whose work is featured in our “Winds of Change” exhibition this year, middle schoolers age 11-14 will try out different art techniques that encourage us to play with materials and see what comes out. No previous art experience is required - all we ask is that you come with curiosity and an open mind!

This is a six-week drop-off program, with a 90-minute class every Thursday from May 8th through June 12th. Each class runs from 3:30pm to 5pm.

Sign-up covers all six classes. This program is offered free of charge thanks to generous support from Ceal Anderson and Colleen Bean, in memory of Connie Bean.
