Trump Unravels RNC's Well-Laid Plans

The current Republican presidential front-runner is upending the game plan for the 2016 presidential election that was put in place by the Republican National Committee after Mitt Romney’s 2012 loss.

The idea this year was to condense the primary schedule, have fewer debates and move up the date of the nominating convention in order to avoid hurting a favorite with a long primary season. Now Donald Trump is the beneficiary and the Republican establishment is concerned.
