Thousands of refugees have crossed into Hungary in the last 24 hours, and police are struggling to deal with the influx. Many of the migrants are fleeing conflict in Syria and Libya and their ideal destination is Germany, a country with more liberal asylum laws.
Here & Now’s Robin Young speaks with BBC’s Ben James, who rode one of the trains full of refugees from Budapest through Austria into Germany.
