Winter Hike: Fiver Finger Point Loop Hike

Winter Hike: Fiver Finger Point Loop Hike

Where: Five Finger Point Trailhead, 256 Pinehurst Road, Sandwich, NH 03227
When: Thursday, Jan. 29, from 10am – 1pm

Looking for a reason to get outside on a winter morning or to get some practice snowshoeing? Join the Squam Lakes Association on a moderate 3 mile hiking loop around Five Finger Point. Explore each cove and "finger" of this northern piece of Squam Lake. The Fiver Finger Point trail will give you a unique view of the lake from the shores of Squam

Hikers should come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, extra layers, and hiking boots or shoes. Snowshoes are recommended, but not required. The SLA is committed to ensuring everyone can get outside in the winter - ask about our free gear library! For more information, or to sign up for this free program, visit the SLA website (squamlakes.org) or contact the SLA directly (603-968-7336).

The Squam Lakes Association is dedicated to conserving for public benefit the natural beauty, peaceful character and resources of the watershed. In collaboration with local and state partners the SLA promotes the protection, careful use and shared enjoyment of the lakes, mountains, forests, open spaces and wildlife of the Squam Lakes Region.
