Hopkinton Gallery Opening Show Features Graphite Artist
The upcoming exhibit at Two Villages Art Society (TVAS) in Hopkinton, NH, features the work of Barbara Morse, an Amherst artist who specializes in graphite drawings. Her detailed, realistic drawings depict a range of subjects, from teacups to baseball mitts. Morse takes ordinary objects and puts them in unexpected surroundings or looks at them in an unusual perspective. The exhibit's opening reception on October 14th from 12:00-2:00 is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available and flute music will be provided by artist Dan Dustin. The TVAS gallery is open and free to the public Thursday through Sunday from 12:00-4:00. The exhibit runs through November 11th.
