Drawn to Nature: Learning to Nature Journal

Drawn to Nature: Learning to Nature Journal

Have you ever slowed down long enough to truly notice the patterns on a leaf, the texture of tree bark, or the way light dances across the water? Nature journaling is a simple yet powerful way to deepen your connection with the outdoors through observation, curiosity, and creativity.

Join us for a welcoming, hands-on nature journaling program open to all ages and experience levels. Whether you are an experienced artist or someone who hasn’t touched a pencil in years, this program is about noticing, wondering, and recording your discoveries, not creating a perfect masterpiece. Through guided prompts and quiet exploration time, participants will learn how to observe closely, ask questions, and capture their findings through words, sketches, and reflections.

Please bring snacks and water, as well as warm clothes you are comfortable sitting outside in. Paper and drawing materials will be provided. If you already have a journal, sketchbook, or favorite drawing tools, you are encouraged to bring them along.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
