Each year, the Nashua Area Artists’ Association hosts a time-honored tradition for both artists and visitors alike. Artists from the New England area come to this landmark downtown Nashua park and set up their artist booths to display their work to thousands of visitors over the two-day event.

During the month of August, Greeley Park in Nashua hosts artist booths and two art competitions – one for adults and the other for kids ages 6 – 18. For more fun there is a raffle and silent auction with thousands of dollars of donated items, all of which help fund two scholarships for local high school students aspiring to pursue an art career. There are also special events including a coloring tent and other programs that allow kids to have a memorable time being creative, learning and expressing their own creativity.

The Greeley Park Art Show originated 70 years ago and has grown and flourished throughout that time. Year after year, as thousands of art show patrons return, many others discover Nashua, NH and the Nashua Area Artists Association for the first time. For everyone who comes, it is an experience they will never forget: a chance to mingle with their fellow artists and art lovers, experience local art and support a local artist, and to enjoy good, old-fashioned fun!
