S3: An Introduction

S3: An Introduction

S³: An Introduction
July 9 - September 7, 2025

The Umbrella is excited to present the Student Summer Showcase, S³: An Introduction, an exhibition featuring the work of our adult students who are creating and learning in a variety of art mediums and subjects. S³: An Introduction is a celebration of our classrooms throughout the 2024/25 academic year and aims to show the talent and insight of our students on their artistic journeys.

This exhibition also aims to continue fostering the spirit of creative learning and development. Noelle Fournier, Director of the Danforth Art School at Framingham State University (FSU), was invited to jury the exhibition and select one Grand Prize winner and a group Honorable Mentions who will receive scholarship funds to be applied to their next arts course at The Umbrella.

S³: An Introduction hopes to be a point of inspiration for those that are considering taking a first step into a creative practice, or a return to it.

The opening reception for S³: An Introduction will occur July 9, 6-8 PM. RSVP appreciated at https://theumbrellaarts.org/s3-umbrella-summer-student-showcase
