Join NLRA to take part in NH Audubon's 39th Annual Backyard Winter Bird Survey, a statewide participatory science project that helps track winter bird populations and long-term trends across New Hampshire. Participants across the state observe and report birds at feeders and natural areas, contributing valuable data that supports bird conservation.

Drop by the Grey Rocks Conservation Center as we practice bird identification while observing birds at our feeders and surrounding habitat, spending most of our time indoors by the windows with coffee and snacks. This is a relaxed, beginner-friendly opportunity to learn more about local winter birds and contribute to real conservation research.
