New Hampshire's weekly fall foliage report says the colors are at their peak in the Great North Woods and in the White Mountains region.
The colors are bursting as the state expects more than 600,000 visitors over Columbus Day Weekend. They are expected to spend nearly $90 million.
Some of the best roads to travel in the Great North Woods are routes 2, 3, 135 and 16. In the White Mountains, Routes 3, 49, 115, 117, 142 on the western side offer grate views, as well as Routes 302 and 112 in the east.
The leaves have turned in much of the Lakes and Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee regions, too.
The Monadnock region is reporting a color change of between 45 and 60 percent.
