ClassicalNH Launched!

New Hampshire Public Radio has teamed up with Highland Community Broadcasting to make classical music more readily available to the Granite State and beyond.

This collaboration allows an expansion of services in the Capital Region and enables both organizations to take advantage of new technologies now available on HD Radio and online.

NHPR is a Sponsor for The 59th Annual New Hampshire State Spelling Bee

The top speller will represent N.H. at the Scripps National Spelling Bee

NHPR and the New Hampshire Union Leader are proud to sponsor The 59th Annual New Hampshire State Spelling Bee scheduled for  March 3, in Concord.   The best spellers from around the Granite State will gather to compete.

The top speller will go on to represent New Hampshire at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, DC.

9-10 a.m.                   Registration

10-11 a.m.                  Written Round - All school-level winners  Governors Hall, Capitol Center for the Arts

11 a.m. - noon         Lunch

Noon-12:30 p.m.  Announcement of state finalists   Chubb Theater, Capitol Center for the Arts

This week has been an incredibly fast one- I can’t believe it’s Friday already! I really need to start writing down what I do here every day… because come Friday… I do what I’ve been doing for the past 10 minutes or so… sitting here trying to remember what I did the last couple days… and drawing a complete blank. Maybe if I just start writing…

I’m here three times a week, and each morning I come in, my task is to post that day’s show to the web page. As I’ve explained before, this involves a few steps: come up with a headline, summary, and photo… edit the script for capitalizations, etc, and add links.
