Litchfield Superintendent Steps Down After Criticism From Teachers Union

Litchfield School District

The head of the Litchfield School District has stepped down.

The school board announced over the weekend that Superintendent Brian Cochrane had resigned, following a vote of no confidence from the Litchfield Education Association.

The UnionLeader reports Cochrane’s resignation is effective Tuesday.

In a statement, Cochrane says he’s enjoyed his three years in the Litchfield School District.
