Plant lovers, collectors, and garden enthusiasts are invited to celebrate the Summer Solstice in botanical style at the Summer Solstice Rare and Unusual Plant Sale, taking place on June 21 at Bedrock Gardens in Lee NH. This one-of-a-kind event will feature a wide selection of high-quality, hard-to-find plants grown by some of the region’s most respected specialty nurseries.

Attendees will have the opportunity to browse and purchase rare perennials, native trees and shrubs, fragrant azaleas, shade-loving ephemerals, and more. Participating vendors include:

• Broken Arrow Nursery – Rare and unusual perennials and small shrubs
• Van Berkum Nursery – Native plants and unique perennials featured at Bedrock Gardens
• Bagley Pond Perennials – Native trees and shrubs
• Mason Hollow Nursery – A wide selection of hostas
• Boulderwoods Nursery – Broad-leaved evergreen rhododendrons (including species and natives), native azaleas, magnolias, woodland wildflowers (Arisaema, Trillium, Jeffersonia), and small trees such as redbud and metasequoia
• Scented Path Nursery – Fragrant and deer-resistant plants, including azaleas and mountain laurels derived from native North American species
• Fables Farm – NH grown pesticide- and chemical-free rooted dahlia cuttings and young dahlias.
• Garden Vision Epimediums – A premier selection of epimediums for shady gardens
• Hill Hollow Daylilies – Beautiful, hardy daylilies in a variety of colors and forms

Guests can also pick up free tree saplings courtesy of Bartlett Tree Experts, and enjoy special discounts in the Garden Store to mark the solstice celebration.

Admission: Entry to the event is free for Bedrock Garden Members, or included with a $15 General Admission ticket, available at the Visitor’s Center when you arrive. Admission includes access to the full gardens for the day.
