Steppin' Up to End Violence 5K Walk / Fun Run

Join more than 700 walkers and 100 runners as they “Step Up" on Saturday, May 3, 2025 in Claremont. Participants will follow a highly visible route starting at 10 am at Claremont Middle School and continue their walk through historic downtown Claremont. In its 19th year, Steppin' Up to End Violence 5k Walk/ Fun is the largest event of its kind in Sullivan County, on the western edge of the state. . Funds raised from the event through community participation directly support Turning Point Network’s mission to end domestic violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking, and stalking. Preventing violence through education programming is a major focus for TPN and Steppin’ Up both emphasizes and supports that initiative.
