Board your train at Sheepscot station for a steam-powered ride through the wild pine forests, farmlands and hamlets of the Sheepscot Valley to Top of Mountain where you'll want to join our friends from SeaLyon Farm for an authentic Southern-style Pig Roast!

At the Pig Roast, feast on the offerings by The Pig Kahuna. Other activities include the SeaLyon farm stand store, wagon rides, games, etc. After a 90 min layover to enjoy the food, fun and festivities, we'll return via an extended trip along the scenic Trout Brook Mountain Extension to Sheepscot station where you'll want to explore our railyard, examine our displays, and peruse our gift shop. The entire experience takes about 3 hours.

Ticket price includes a seven mile round trip aboard the historic steam train, the Southern-style Pig Roast, tractor-drawn wagon rides, admission to SeaLyon Farm, all as well as parking at Sheepscot. Additional refreshments, beverages, goodies, and other farm products are sold separately by SeaLyon Farm and their partners. Note that due to the nature of this event, wheelchairs can not be accommodated at the farm.

Unfortunately, pets can not be accommodated during this special event.

The special Pig Roast and Farmstand Express trains depart Sheepscot station (97 Cross Road, Alna) promptly at 11:00am and 1:00pm. Please anticipate traffic conditions on Route 1 in Wiscasset.
