Echoes and Reflections

Echoes and Reflections

Echoes & Reflections, an exhibition examining the symmetries between abstract painting and modern quiltmaking, such as bold color, asymmetry, and the use of negative space. Four quiltmakers present quilts “echoing” abstracts by two painters, while two poets reflect on the process. Featured artists include Hester Campbell, Diane Chartier, Dotty Holcomb Doherty, Ruth Fischer, Deborah Rivers, David Sullivan, Pamela Tarbell, and James Wolcott.

All are welcome to attend the opening reception on Friday, May 5, 5-7 PM.

Echoes and Reflections will be on view May 5th through June 25 in the Gallery at WREN located at 2011 Main Street in Bethlehem NH. The Gallery is open during WREN’s regular hours Monday-Saturday 10 AM-5 PM (closed Wednesdays) and Sunday 10 AM-4 PM.

The Adair Country Inn & Restaurant is the proud sponsor of the Gallery at WREN.
