LITTLETON HIGH SCHOOL PRESENTS MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING
Thursday, Friday and Saturday November 13, 14, & 15 at 7:00 PM and Saturday November 15 at 2:00 PM. Littleton High School gymnasium, presented by the LHS Players, the high school's drama group. Tickets $8, $4 students, $3 seniors, under-12 free. Doors open 30 minutes before the show. In keeping with the spirit of Shakespeare's day, when female roles were performed by men, LHS's male players will fill female roles and the female players will play male roles. Tickets available at Littleton Elks Lodge any day after 3 PM, and Mane Street Styles, Meadow Street. $20 per person. Must be over 21 with ID. Proceeds benefit the Littleton Elks Lodge and the area Christmas Food Basket Program.
AN EVENING OF LAUGHS WITH JUSTON MCKINNEY, HAVERHILL
Friday November 14 7:30 PM Alumni Hall at Court Street Arts. Juston McKinney grew up on the border of Maine and New Hampshire. After earning an associates degree from the very prestigious Southern Maine Community College, he was hired as a York County sheriff’s deputy patrolling the same border in which he grew up. But in 1997 Juston turned in his gun and badge and left the dangerous streets of rural Maine and moved to New York. While living in NYC he worked his way into the weekend line-up at Comic Strip Live, Stand-up New York, Dangerfield’s, Gotham, and Caroline’s on Broadway. McKinney has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan O’Brien and has two Comedy Central specials and was chosen to be part of the Blue Collar Comedy Next Generation Tour. HOUSE CONCERT, EASTON
Saturday November 15 concert at 7 PM potluck starts at 5:30 PM at the home of Bill and Brenda Shannon Adam. Fiddler Ellie Buckland, fiddler Isa Burke, bassist Mali Obamsawin. While in college, these three young women are appearing on the festival circuit and on stage at folk clubs. Impeccable musicianship, close harmonies, infectious musical energy. Old folk songs, new Americana, original songs in an acoustic roots style. Reservations required.
