While the number of Africans enrolled in American and European higher education remains stagnant, nearly a third of international scholarships offered by the Chinese government are awarded to Africans. China’s is deepening its 12 billion dollar investment in Africa by aiding African universities and setting up Chinese language schools on the continent.
