State and local police in New Hampshire are responding to dozens of minor accidents, especially in the southern part of the state, as falling snow has made roads hazardous.
A dispatcher at the State Police Troop B barracks in Bedford says police responded to 40 to 50 accidents on Saturday afternoon.
A winter weather advisory was posted for southern and central New Hampshire until 9 p.m.
Police are urging people who are able to do so to put off travel until crews have a chance to clear the roads.
