Many towns in New Hampshire can expect to wake up to a light blanket of snow Friday morning.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for southwestern New Hampshire, and onward up to Lebanon in the Upper Valley. The National Weather Service advisory includes Cheshire, Grafton, and Sullivan Counties, and parts of Hillsborough and Merrimack counties.
Rain falling across much of the state will, in greater Concord, turn to a mix of rain and snow and then snow after midnight. In Concord, the snow accumulation will be maybe an inch. Parts of Cheshire and Sullivan county may get 1- to 2- inches of snow.
The extended forecast calls for a sunny Saturday, a chance of showers on Sunday, and mostly sunny weather Monday and for Election Day on Tuesday.
