We Want to Hear From You: What Are You Most Excited To Do For the First Time, Again?

Apr 2, 2021

A niece’s wedding. A reunion with parents. A trip back to the ballpark, the theater, or a campsite with old friends. A hug. After the last year, we could all use something to look forward to.

As the weather warms and vaccines become more widely available, we want to know: What are you planning to do for the first time, again — once it is safe? We’d also love for you to share snapshots of these moments as they’re happening.

If you know you’re going to get to do something for the first time again soon, we invite you to let us know ahead of time or share a recording with us at voices@nhpr.org. (Read below for more instructions on how to participate.)

Your responses could make it into a new NHPR reporting project.

How to share your thoughts with us.

Send us an email: Share your thoughts with us directly at voices@nhpr.org. You can also attach photos or videos, if you’d like. Please try to include your name and hometown in your message.

Leave us a voicemail: Call NHPR’s audience hotline at 603-513-7790. Please make sure to leave your full name, your hometown and a phone number where we can reach you if we have follow-up questions.

Share a voice memo or video with us:

  1. Record your voice on your phone or computer using an app such as Voice Recorder (Windows), Voice Memos or QuickTime Player (Mac). You can also send us a video recorded on your phone, if that’s easiest.
  2. Save the voice recording as an audio file (such as an MP3 or WAV file) or video file (such as MP4) on your phone, computer or tablet.
  3. Send your video or voice memo to voices@nhpr.org. If you run into any issues, feel free to email us at the same address, and we’ll do our best to troubleshoot.

Tag us on social media: We’re at @nhpr on Twitter, New Hampshire Public Radio on Facebook, or  @nhpublicradio on Instagram and Tiktok.
