After Vice President Mike Pence touched down for a rally at the Pease International Tradeport in Portsmouth, he stressed core conservative issues – and the economy.

The vice president touched on issues important to President Trump’s most hard-care supporters – China trade policy, religious liberty, support for police, and the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett, Trump’s pick to join the U.S. Supreme Court.

Pence said voters face a choice between what he termed a Trump recovery and a Biden depression. "Who do you really think is going to bring this economy all the way back?” he said at the Wednesday stop. “Is it a proven job creator that put timeless free-market principles into practice and say 7 million jobs created, or is it a career politician?”

Pence also visited New Hampshire last month. The president himself was here during the summer. Neither Joe Biden or Vice Presidential nominee Kamala Harris have campaigned here since the New Hampshire Democratic presidential primary.
