New Hampshire residents get their second chance to sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act starting Nov. 15.
The second enrollment season for healthcare.gov runs through Feb. 15. More than 40,000 New Hampshire residents selected health plans during the first enrollment period, which ended March 31.
Five companies will be offering individual health plans, compared with the one company that did so for this year. Four of those companies will be offering plans for small businesses as well. Individuals will have 40 plans to choose from, while small businesses will have 21.
Each of the state's 26 hospitals will be included in at least two provider networks. Seven hospitals will be in all five networks.
